Manager - Regulatory Reporting (Bank) Location: Gurgaon

Job Description :

Location : Cyber City Gurgaon, building No. 5

Designation : Regulatory Reporting Manager

Salary : Rs. 18 LPA - Rs. 24 LPA.

Job Description : Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities :

- Calculations and reporting which underpin the Bank's regulatory reporting requirements.

- Ownership of daily capital adequacy and Early Warning Indicator internal reporting.

- Calculation of own funds, deductions, transitional provisions, minority interest (depending on the capital structure changes) etc.

- Calculation of the leverage ratio.

- Ownership of COREP returns regarding capital adequacy, leverage, group solvency and operational risk returns including submission via third party software and Gabriel.

- Ownership of Bank of England reporting of balance sheet and income statement related information (e.g. BT, ELS, CA, CC, CL, CX, FI, C1, PL).

- Ownership of PRA reporting of balance sheet, income statement, forecast and provision related information (FSA001, FSA002, FSA014, FSA015, FSA017).

- Liaise with Compliance & CRO to update and report on close links and controllers reports (annual and event driven) to PRA.

- Input into Pillar 3 public disclosure process.

- Detailed Analysis and Analytical reviews and trend analysis of all regulatory reporting results; and Provide detailed analysis and commentary on movements in capital usage and monitoring versus internal limits.

- Presentation of executive summaries to senior management including CFO for sign-off prior to return submission.

- Input into and collation of responses to regulator queries.

- Provision of Management Information, both pre-defined and ad-hoc.

- Responsible for maintaining a robust control environment over the regulatory reporting process resulting in an efficient and effective reporting framework.

- Management of internal and external audit requests; and any necessary return re-submissions.

- Drive projects to re-engineer systems and processes and prepare for changes in regulations.

- Work closely with the UK Financial Controller and provide input into internal policy forum discussions regarding interpretation of regulations and guidance.

- From time to time it will be necessary for the successful candidate to perform tasks outside the immediate job scope outlined above, as deemed appropriate by management.

Desired Candidate Profile : Qualifications & Key Skills

- Good academic background: Degree 2:1

- Accounting qualification (Chartered Accountant)

- Prior experience of BoE reporting and COREP reporting, preferably in a Commercial / Retail banking environment

- Essential knowledge of the European Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR), in particular regarding own funds and leverage

- Essential knowledge of Bank of England and PRA financial returns

Candidates Must Have Banking Background And Be A Chartered Accountant.
