Manager - Purchase

Responsibilities:

- Identify major procurement opportunities and deliver a series of quick wins.

- Improve purchasing methods and drive down external spend.

- Support the purchasing function at a strategic level.

- Overlook the production related tasks including planning, control and trouble shooting

- Present MIS/ report on procurement material to facilitate future decision-making.

- Develope long-term partnerships with suppliers.

- Manage day-to-day supplier performance for meeting service, cost, delivery and quality norms.

- Coordinate with the departments like Production, Engineering, Stores, Finanace & Quality.

Key Skills:

- Purchase, materials, vendor development, procurement, SCM, supply chain management, logistics, warehouse, inventory.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- BE/B.Tech with 5+ Years experience - into Purchase, Inventory, Vendor Development, Contract Management etc., with a background in any of the Process/Continous Industry and exposure in Material Management is preferred.
