Manager - Public Relations

Position Title : Manager- Public Relations (PR)

Reports to : AVP

Basic Purpose- To handle the overall PR mandate. To help build the brand through publicity for all aspects and opportunities of the Channel, its shows and its artists.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Strategize and lead the PR mandate

- Ensure excellent media relations are in place to deliver publicity for the fledgling channel

- To profile and position the channel correctly, while ensuring adequate buzz on the brand

- Ensure national mileage for the brand across all relevant media outlets

- Work with the agency on the digital aspect of publicizing the brand

To ensure seamless laisioning with the team and the production houses and generate pegs required to publicize the shows

Skill-Sets required

GEC background in PR, media relations, excellent writing skills as per requirements for GEC’s, ability to go beyond the call of duty and work at short deadlines, team player so the candidate works closely with the team to deliver to the mandate
