Product Marketing Manager  Company : Consumer Internet Company Handling Millions of Traffic   Description of the Role :  - Product Management is inbound and Product Marketing is outbound.  - Product Management listens to the market, and Product Marketing speaks to the market.  - Product Management focuses on putting product - on the shelf, and Product Marketing focuses on getting product off the shelf- .  - Product Management primarily works with Engineering and Product Marketing primarily works with Sales.  Are you a Product Marketer :   - In today's market, where technology makes it easy for companies around the world to compete with one another, it is even more important than ever to understand the market and buyer needs, and using that knowledge to ensure the company executes on compelling marketing and sales strategies.  - The Product Marketer will assure full end-to-end alignment - from company and product strategy to product development, product launch, and go-to-market strategy and tactics.  Roles & Responsibilities :  Product launch :   - Plan the launch of new products, features and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan  - Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market  Sales enablement : Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of payment products  Market intelligence : Be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them  Demand generation : Develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for the products  - Support Business Head to lead all inbound and outbound marketing efforts for the product portfolio - that means you will be the subject matter expert on the customer, the product and the category  - Work closely with product teams for a comprehensive understanding of the offerings and contribute to and keep track of their evolution (most especially for early stage products)  - Deliver actionable insights using first and third party research, data, competitive insights and market segmentation to shape the product road-map and meet business goals  - Develop the product positioning, product naming and partner with Content Strategist to deliver world-class messaging  - Work with design team, business development and external agency to develop creative assets to support product portfolio including website, videos, training tools, sales collateral, case studies and more.  - Be the products brand advocate and key spokesperson, ensuring consistency across every internal & external touch point  - Sustain the product by identifying optimization opportunities by investigating unmet needs and understanding customer satisfaction to ensure healthy life-cycle  Requirements :  - 5+ years of software product marketing experience with at least 2 years experience in a sales team facing role  - Bachelor's in business or marketing  - Very strong written communication skills, design sensibilities & proven success  - Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
