A leading US based investment bank is looking for candidates with 4-10 years of experience in Product Control - Equities.  Job Description:  - The main focus of the role will be to manage a team of P&L Controllers, including responsibility for the performance of the team and maintaining a high level of control and guardianship.  - The team is responsible for the P&L process on a day-to-day basis, from reconciliation and resolution of issues to the substantiation and reporting of a fully attributed P&L.  - The BU’s supported will be within the Equity Division across the regions of London, Hong Kong and Tokyo.  - This is a high profile role that requires the individual to work closely with colleagues in Operations and the Business Unit, as well as the Business Unit Controllers (BUCs) in London, Hong Kong and Tokyo.  The Role in Detail:  - Understand the Businesses supported, the strategies, products and inherent risks.  - Understand the Risk & Reporting Systems, identifying opportunities to enhance the Control Environment and add value.   - Management of a team of Controllers, including their development & performance appraisal.   - Workflow management, ensuring resources are effectively utilised and service maintained.  - Review, preparation and distribution of reportable TD+1 P&L with attribution and commentary to the regional BUCs/Business Unit for sign off.  - Providing support to the team and the regional BUC’s on technical issues, acting as a point of escalation for all concerned parties across the aforementioned regions.  - Review and monitoring of controls and KPI’s, ensuring a high quality product delivered in a timely manner.  - Review and reporting of Position Control breaks and manual adjustments data to the regional BUCs. Understanding the issue and involvement in root cause analysis and remediation as appropriate.   - Preparation of weekly, monthly & quarterly P&L commentary for submission to Senior Management.  - Other P&L related tasks, including strategic and operational involvement in departmental and firm wide projects affecting the team, UAT testing etc.
