Manager - Procurement - FMCG/Food

1) Manage local buying and transactional activities and balance workload with the team

2) Planning and procurement of supplies and services to ensure optimal inventory management & support ongoing production operations.

3) Use data from Process and Systems team to set targets and drive KPIs

4) Work closely with key customers to communicate process changes and improve buyer-customer interface

5) Manage interactions with key suppliers, Monitor and improve Vendor performance

6) Ensure compliance with PO policies and procedures

7) Work with shared services to standardize and automate tactical activities over time

8) Aid in supplier searches. Develop and maintain a network / database of alternate suppliers of goods and
services. Provide support to the R&D team in sourcing new material for development.

9) Coordinate with marketing team, suppliers and regional category managers in carrying out packaging changes. Work with area packaging lead for development of alternative packaging options. Artwork conversions for timely execution of promotions and new product launches.

10) Responsible for managing the custom clearance process for all the imported materials.

11) Finalize RFP documents with project team / category managers

12) Join regional negotiations to provide regional / local execution knowledge and strategic input

13) Update contracts and lead the execution / implementation

Qualification: MBA Full time

Experience: 5 - 8 yrs of experience post qualification

Ctc: 25L - 35L
