About the Role

Manager, Private Label Sourcing (Furniture)

Responsibilities

1) Deliver on the penultimate business objective of providing high quality private label products to customers as affordable prices across categories

2) Manage and develop a team of sourcing professionals by providing the necessary guidance, training, and motivation.

3) Guide and influence other business partners on supply and demand strategies across all categories by soliciting trust and authority based on deep expertise for all relevant suppliers and categories

4) Leverage existing relationships, knowledge and expertise in sourcing to deliver high quality products across categories sourcing from high calibre manufacturers across India

5) Define team's strategy and wanted position in alignment with business units targets and objectives. Boost operational execution through well-defined operational plans and focus areas.

6) Identify product and sourcing trends and be a thought leader in developing long-term category strategies that drive significant value to the private label business growth

The ideal candidate should possess

- 5-12 years- experience in sourcing or manufacturing

- Master's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience

- Experience overseeing and participating in a large-scale business operations

- Experience managing a Profit and Loss (P&L) or equivalent

- Strategic agility, particularly in fast paced, ambiguous environment working with a large crew of multiple skillsets

- Ability to act as a high-level influence by bringing thought leadership to stakeholders

- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and motivation skills

- Demonstrated commitment to developing staff skills and building capabilities

Salary offered: 10 - 14 LPA
