Manager - Presales & Solution Development - Payment Industry (8-10 yrs)

Purpose of the job :

- A Presales and Solution Development Manager is responsible for providing pre-sales support for products/ solutions and their partner offerings.

- He/ She interacts with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, executive presentations and follow-up discussions.

- The Presales and Solution Development Manager collaborates with sales, customer success and engineering teams to plan account strategies.

Your Main Responsibilities :

- Compose and deliver superior sales presentations covering partner software solutions to prospective customer audiences. The presentations must articulate the sales message, differentiate, and leave a strong and positive impression to audiences which can include senior company executives.

- Prepare and deliver software demonstrations in support of sales cycles. Preparation includes personalization of demos to meet the needs of prospective customers and personalization of demos to ensure delivery of a simple, appealing and compelling presentation. Provide proof points with relevant customer stories

- In advance of a demonstration or key presentation, conduct discovery sessions with representatives from the prospective customer. A discovery session is an interview to identify and understand key pain points which will determine the value drivers and solution enablers for the presentation.

- Stay up to date with the latest solutions as well as industry trends. Maintain a close understanding and appreciation of competitive solutions.

- Complete sections of responses to RFIs and RFPs.

- Post-sale, communicate the business requirements to the Customer Success team to ensure a smooth transition.

- Participate in Collaborate with field sales teams to participate in various one-to-many lead generating activities and marketing activities, including presenting at events for the solution, developing reference customers, competitive positioning and analysis

- Participate in new product release input, testing and training of peers.

- Serve as a champion for assigned industry based product functionality and provide knowledge transfer to colleagues as needed. Share in-depth knowledge and experience with sales team to enable decision-making by customer and provide innovative solutions to complex business issues.

- Extensive travel is required

Your Profile :

- 8+ years of presales experience, with 3 -5 years of solution specialist (or equivalent customer facing) experience in payment industry

- Track record of successful engagements leading presales and solution development in deals in the payment industry

- Good understanding of integrating various back-end OLTP systems and Mobile Applications such as SFA, Payment Gateways with a Point of Sales (POS) solution.

- Adequate implementation and roll out experience of POS/ Payments solutions to work out man-power effort and time of project implementation, for providing quotes for various integration services.

- Successful track record of competing against payment solutions providers

- Excellent communication, listening, presentation, and writing skills

- An outgoing, focused, organized person and self starter with a strong will to succeed in a matrix structure of start-up organization

- Four year degree in Engineering/ Science from a reputed institute.

- Excellent verbal and written English skills as the working company language is English
