Client Profile Our clients are a USA-based eLearning organisation with core business of designing and developing learning deliverables for the enterprise. Their clients include hightech, financial, medical and non-profit organizations. Their service portfolio includes classroom-based, web-based and blended solutions, as well as learning support modules optimized for mobile audiences. Our clients are in the process of setting up an office in Navi Mumbai and are seeking Sales Professionals to be based in Navi Mumbai. The positions offer immense scope for exposure & growth. Pre-Sales Manager:
Job+Candidate Profile:
eLearning and training Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 7-10 years of business development and pre-sales experience. Must have in-depth understanding of eLearning industry, will be able to assess and identify the needs of potential customers, and will be able to articulate and align the company service offerings with the requirements of the customer. Will participate in customer site visits, and support sales growth and sales pipeline generation.
Will act as the technical SME for the business development/sales team during sales calls (in-person and/or during phone calls). Will present to prospects the technical aspects on how the company's service offerings can meet the needs and requirements of the customer. Will be responsible for participating in technical presentations, sales calls and customer demos.
Will participate and assist in:
- The bid/proposal process
- The analysis & designing of solutions
- The creation, review & evaluation of proposals
- Preparing project plans, SOWs, and responses to RFPs and RFIs
- Client interactions
Performing market and competitive analysis
Creating collateral, market studies, marketing plans & campaigns
The ongoing development of a robust sales pipeline
Nurturing & evolving company customer base
Working with cross functional departments (e.g. delivery, solution architects, etc.)
Maintaining and updating business development knowledge repository for sales support
Interpersonal Skills:
A team player with strong business acumen; excellent time management skills; superb communication skills in English (written and verbal); proven experience in collaboration and working in cross functional groups; excellent awareness of cross-cultural & multi-geography working relationships; experienced in diverse markets like U.S.A., Asia Pacific and India.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master' degree or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years relevant experience in selling/marketing eLearning and training services
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Fluency in English is an absolute must
- Experience in self-generating sales leads as well as capability to work off of warm leads
