About our Client - Our client is a leading and highly respected organization in the chemical manufacturing space .They are looking for a seasoned HR professional with generalist experience in manufacturing sector to manage the plant based out of Gujarat.

Job Description : Reporting into the HR Head you will be responsible for :

- Managing the end to end HR function for the plant based out of Gujarat

- Bringing forth innovative HR practices in the day to day functioning of the plant and bringing in the structure of 'self managed teams'

- Managing the career planning and development plans for a staff span of more than 1000 people (including blue collar workers)

- Be the interface between the employees and the management with focus on helping solve work related problems, interpreting policies

- Identifying the training needs of existing employees and conducting need based training

- Managing retention of employees, employee morale and commitment

The Successful Candidate: As a successful candidate you should have :

- 6-7 years of experience (post full time MBA ) as HR generalist in manufacturing sector. This is not an IR role.

- Strong experience in modern HR practices like 'self managed teams' and 'high performance framework'

- Experience of working in a plant and handling a large employee base

- Good communication and leadership skills

- Quick learner and a high energy individual
