Manager - Planning & Procurement - FMCG

One of the leading FMCG is looking for Manager Planning and Procurement.

This Position will be based in Africa. This candidate will be responsible for Procurement for a African country.

The candidate will reports to Head Supply chain .

Exp: 4 years to 10 years

Qualification: BE

We are looking candidates from Manufacturing Industries.

- Coordinated all aspects of a purchase including (RM & PM): Purchase process, Supply chain management, concept development, sourcing methodology, vendor relationships, team communications, contract negotiations, budgets, and final analysis

- Cost reduction through development of alternate suppliers and alternate materials.

- Responsible for Order Placement Timing, Supply / Demand Alignment, Material Replenishment and Supplier Performance.

- Delivering cost savings for the company.

- Managing the procurement supplier relationships for the company.

- Developing sourcing strategies & managing commodity cost initiatives.

- Involved in selling off excess, damaged and inventory and stock.

- Understand demand and supplier issues to maintain and optimize inventory levels to assure efficient and effective production.

- Maintain the receiving, care, custody, control and issuance of inventory. Set minimum and maximum inventory levels for optimal operating performance.

- Analyze and determine all standards for packaging lines and ensure compliance to all schedule for processes and develop and maintain all packaging effectively.
