Hiring for Ratan Tata backed eCommerce Startup

- Our client is a revolutionary start-up which is a one stop shop for industrial tools and other paraphernalia. Founded by a former Google employee and backed by Ratan Tata, the company is funded by SeedPlus, Accel Partners and Jungle Ventures. The start-up boasts of a team consisting of members who bring to the table dynamic and rich experiences from employers like Google, Amazon and Snapdeal.

- A wide assortment of genuine industrial goods and products which include power tools, hand tools, adhesives, safety and electrical equipment from top global and Indian brands are available for the customers across India.

As an Online Marketing Manager, your key responsibilities will include :

- Work closely with leadership to build up strategies towards achieving the growth objectives

- Establish effective relationship with multiple stakeholders (Category, operations, engineering etc.)

- Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns

- Design, build and maintain the company's social media presence

- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights

- Brainstorm and create new and creative growth strategies

- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests

- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience

- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points

- Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels

- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners to create effective online marketing plans

- Evaluate emerging technologies Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

- Define and manage the marketing plans and budget

Candidate Profile :

- Top tier MBA and engineering degree preferred

- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in digital marketing, having worked on all elements of the digital marketing from SEO and SEM through to social media, mobile campaigns, apps, digital media planning and campaign tracking and evaluation

- Familiar with email marketing, email development, and analysis tool

- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels

- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments

- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Webmaster etc.)

- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

- Excellent written and spoken English

- Affinity and expertise on all major social media platforms

- Creative flair to come up with interesting and engaging ideas

- Minimum 2 years of experience in social media management role

- Strong creative writing skills with great command on grammar

- Ability to strategize and execute on content plans

- A creative, pro-active, team player and multitasker
