Media Planning Manager

We are looking for a Manager - Media Planning and Buying for one of our clients in the consumer durable space.

- The focus will be on media planning, buying, optimization and performance analysis across multiple mediums including television, print, other ATL and digital, to help determine the optimal channel mix for future and current campaigns, optimize ROI on investments and suggest the optimal media mixes while negotiating to maximize efficiency for investments being made.

- The candidate needs to possess a strong ability to take a brief and convert that into a plan.

- The candidate will be responsible for managing media agencies and other partners in order to achieve mass media goals.

- The candidate will work closely with the marketing teams, and cross functional teams to establish and implement mass media best practices.

- The candidate needs to have really strong people skills and needs to deliver very strongly on people management.

- Developing test and learn scenarios to continue to innovate and expand media mix.

- Manage budgets and timelines for media programs

- Prepare monthly budget forecasts for media spends

- Monitor and analyse key media buy metrics, quality, and campaign performance

- Establish post-campaign analysis and optimization efforts to ensure the efficiency of the media plans for future

Skills Required :

- Relevant professional experience in media planning, media buying, and/or advertising production management

- In-depth understanding of media principles, planning and buying functions in India.

- Solid industry knowledge and contacts

- Demonstrated superior negotiation skills

- Strong knowledge of media research, trafficking, tracking and reporting processes, techniques and technologies

- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

- Strong data driven marketing skills, with demonstrated ability to dive deep into customer data and translate findings into actionable customer insights.

Preferred Qualifications :

- In house media management experience for a corporate highly desirable

- MBA marketing and in-house corporate media experience
