Manager - Marketing Operations - Bangalore / Mysore with a top US firm

General Summary :

- Our client is looking for a bright and go-getting Manager, Marketing Operations to help take their world-class marketing function to the next level.

- The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded marketer with the ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts and draw actionable conclusions.

- This person will play a pivotal role in improving the efficiency and value of their marketing investment. Being eager to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced organization will allow you to thrive and grow.

- This person will have a keen understanding of marketing principles, and how technology can enable that.

- They will be able to operate on multiple levels, daily, working to develop strategic plans; operationalizing them; training up the team; and ensuring overall success. It is both hands-on and management of. And, this person will know how to coach and mentor.

Duties and Responsibilities :

- Focus on developing, managing and executing operational processes and tasks in support of lead generation programs

- Facilitate and work closely with the teams like IT, Marketing staff and Sales Ops teams to ensure an airtight lead process from inquiry to closed revenue

- Documents findings of studies and analysis and prepares recommendations for implementation of new project systems, procedures, or process changes

- Understand the flow of leads from top of the funnel through to sales pipeline and opportunity generation and close. Coordinate with marketing team members to establish and maintain scoring requirements, lead grade, sales acceptance of leads (task assignments), conversion metrics, and required lead volume to meet both net-new and retention revenue objectives. Evolve reporting tools that improve this closed-loop sales/marketing process

- Build a marketing dashboard and report on marketing operational metrics relating to data in CRM and other functionality databases. Clearly understand how the CRM functions and be a super-user in SFDC to ensure compliance and optimal use

- Provide management view into process changes/automation resulting in increased measuring results

- Support outbound email strategy, planning and execution including day to day execution of email campaigns

- Oversee the process of list pulls for outbound campaigns, focusing on improving the process through automation

- CRM database enhancements and periodic testing of database

- Responsible for managing regular, timely and error free updates on the website along with envisioning of SEO improvement strategy; in addition to the overall strategy behind website optimization

- Responsible for challenging resource requirements, budgets, timing, scope and deliverables for all strategic projects in the Strategic Portfolio

- Manage marketing automation and workflow processes to standardize and leverage best in class funnel metrics and support marketing to achieve marketing operational excellence

- Own the configuration, optimization, maintenance, and reporting for all digital programs and email marketing through ActOn and Salesforce of all our ongoing programs

- Collaborate with design team to develop creative assets such as email headers, email templates, and landing page templates; and manage external creative agency relationship

- Support Social Media Strategy inclusive of Digital Media and SEO, planning and execution including day to day execution of campaigns. Ensure all reporting is captured and analyzed

Qualifications :

REQUIRED :

- This position requires full-time hours in client's Mysore/ Bangalore office. Remote work is not an option.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer related field from 4-Year University or trade school equivalent. MBA in Marketing is a Plus

- Total 8-10 years of experience with relevant experience of 5-7 years supervising others at various organizational levels

- 5+ years of experience working within a B2B technology company

- A strong quantitative / analytic approach to business and problem solving along with data-driven thinking

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Salesforce.com, WordPress, ActOn (or another marketing automation system), and relational database technology

- Excellent Salesforce.com skills (super user)

- Strong background in SEO, and social media. Current experience in both (2+ years for each)

- Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics

- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO, SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns

- High attention to detail and accuracy despite deadline pressure

- Excellent verbal (English language a must), written and interpersonal communication skills

- Flexible attitude, energetic and enthusiastic individual

- Strong vendor management skills
