Market Manager is responsible for targeting and contracting appropriate Hotel and maximizing sales through effective management of partner inventory, rate, pricing.
Responsibilities :
- Ownership and accountability for specific Hotel contracting targets.
- Develop and maintain regular and consistent partner contact at the property level. The Market Manager should strive to build strong relationships with all partners and have regular contact with each of them.
- Secure and negotiate competitive rates and inventory to meet room night and other targets, including peak periods.
- Monitor and analyze weekly sales reports to track progress and performance of partners and markets including and address any problems or concerns.
- Partner with Hotel Operations departments to address content-related or technical issues.
- Maintain a strong relationship with key stakeholders in the company to ensure all relevant objectives are met.
- Participate in regular supplier/partner contract and performance meetings as necessary and provides destination, product, marketing and operational expertise to enhance supplier/partner relationships and ensure overall region needs are being met.
- Due to cross functional nature of the profile need to be cross-trained to support and understand the other coordinating departments to emerge as a confident relationship manager with the hotel partners
- Other potential engagements in other work areas within the Company.
Requirements :
- Experience in hotel sales.
- Knowledge of travel industry and booking channels essential.
- Microsoft Excel, Word and Power point skills at intermediate level preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
- Proven ability to meet / exceed targets and deadlines.
- Strong customer service skills.
Salary Range: 5-10 LPA
