We have a career opportunity with a leading FMCG company having the products of edible oils and hair oil for the position of Marketing Manager based at Mumbai.  Designation: Marketing Manager(HOD)  Location: Mumbai  Job Description:  - Develop brand marketing strategy: 	 a) Product Strategy 	 b) Packaging Strategy 	 c) Price and Value Strategy 	 d) Competitive Strategy 	 e) Communication strategy 	 f) Customer Offer strategy 	 g) Out of plan initiatives on sales and cost  - Initiate and define cost effective strategic options for brand development.  - Propose and deliver budgets for promotional activities. Effectively roll out marketing plan.  - Propose, lead and achieve new product development with effective launching.  - Priorities markets and consumer segments on basis of profitability, growth potential, activities and protectability.  - Develops marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment policy, nature of market, copyright and royalty requirements and cost and mark up factors.  - Set up and allocate roll out communications to update the program, enhance products and guide the programs on marketing and tools of sales. Keep flowchart of marketing plans.  - Create marketing plans geared towards end users for each key product within portfolio, in line with strategy and targets and within budgets.  - Communication to other relevant departments about new innovations and how can it be used to leverage marketing efforts.  - Develop and implement brand and communication strategy and budget.  - Manage media relations, research editorial opportunities and build relationship with key industry media.  - Control and manage response data of communication, other performance and marketing metrics.  - Making media plans and proofing of creative etc. Design, buys and negotiates media in local media.  - Monitoring corporate communication plans and strategy for uniformly in message, including tag lines, templates, and logo usage.  - Maintain liaison with external and internal suppliers, assisting in commissioning and delivery of marketing material.  - Develop physical features (personality) of portfolio brands, considering new trends in packaging, labeling and overall appearance of products.  Product Branding 	 Core Responsibilities are as under:  - Implement new product development initiatives.  - Develop and implement wide variety of necessary elements such as strategy, implementing plans operating standards, for the growth of various products and company as whole.  - Understand potential of product categories and identify most potential pockets for concentrated efforts and optimum results.  - Scan and implement developmental plans to penetrate existing and new markets.  - Monitoring sales trends and developing an appropriate activation strategy.  - Brand planning, revenue, margin planning, and budgeting.  - Forecast demand as per market requirements and manage the inventory pipeline ensuring ready availability of products.  - Work with regional office on designing and implementing prospecting and client contact system.  - Assist the business to meet its objectives, live the values and culture to practice the companies’ policies.  - Work with business innovation department to develop new ideas for reaching end user markets using latest electronic technologies.  - Market research and competitor’s analysis.  - Excel, understanding of financials  Education Profile: MBA - Sales & Marketing  Personal Attributes: Technical & Strategic:  - Strong knowledge of customers, market dynamics and requirements - (preferably from the same industry)  - Strong Technical knowledge of the products, market, and the subject 	 Behavioral Competencies:  - Ability to have a right judgment and take decisions accordingly.
