Manager - Logistics Operations - FMCG - NITIE/SP Jain (7-10 yrs)
Logistics Ops. Mgr.
Executive Hiring is looking for a Logistics Ops. Mgr. based at Kolkata for a Large FMCG, based at Kolkata.
Engineering and a Post Grad in Operations from NITIE/SP Jain, with at least 8-10 years of work experience in Logistics management in a large FMCG is mandatory.
Please note, it's a national role and hence less than 8 years work exp. will not be entertained.
The job is to handle transportation and freight between various points of transportation.
KRA's :
- Customer service - placement of Stock w.r.t availability at ware house and managing network & transportation
- Cost negotiations - ensuring fill rates by close coordination with planning team
- Operational efficiencies pertaining to product mix and optimal utilization
- Vendor management New vendor development
- Building Systems for ensuring effective TAT and fill rate
