Looking Legal Manager for a leading Real Estate firm in Mumbai, with min experience of 10 years and thorough knowledge of arbitration matters.  Litigation Matter Appearing before various Courts / Tribunals / Commissions / Regulatory Authorities/ government bodies/quasi-judicial bodies/consumer forums for resolving issues/ matters Handling Claims, recovery proceedings, injunctions, declaration suits, fraud cases / defaulters / insolvent clients as well as initiating the legal actions against them.  Advising for planning the strategies and procedures to be followed in various cases; briefing counsels on various cases and planning the strategies / procedures to be followed.  Legal Documentation  Preparing & drafting of claims for arbitration and handling the same in arbitration proceeding for and on behalf of clients.  Drafting and vetting various legal & commercial documents viz. Deeds, Contracts, Agreements, Legal Notices, Show Cause Notices, Written Statements, Appeals, Case Papers, Memorandum of Understanding and Memorandum of Association, Mortgages, etc.  Filling, Handling and Managing of Cases under Sec 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act and Under Civil Procedure Code.  Liaison Work  Maintaining sustained contact with legal professionals and government officials for initiating and follow-ups on legal procedures and finalising various legal agreements.  Liaising with government departments and regulatory authorities viz. for obtaining necessary sanctions and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.
