CRITICAL ACTIVITIES :

Drafting, vetting and execution of Transaction Documents within the timelines set by the Business Development Team /Clients for Debenture issuances, Security Trustee transaction, Project Finance, Securitisation, Private Equity & Venture Capital Funds and other products. Experience in drafting and vetting of documents. Knowledge of Company law, Trust law and Contract Act. Experience in banking law will be welcome.

ROUTINE ACTIVITIES :

Conducting research relating to transactions that are hit by FEMA and SEBI, RBI, Companies Act, Indian Contract Act and other statutes

Key Aspects of the job :

Independently drafting and vetting documents for debenture and security trusteeship transactions.

Providing legal support for consummation of transactions including advising on transaction structure, compliance with applicable laws, drafting, vetting, finalization and execution of transaction documents. Ensuring legal compliances. Interacting with clients for finalizing documentation. Handling all legal queries with respect to the transactions being dealt with.

Candidate Profile :

Candidate should have an exposure in commercial, trust and banking laws. He/she should be articulate and good in communication skills. Candidate should note that strict timelines for delivery of documents have to be adhered to and should be willing to work long hours if required
