Manager - Legal & Compliance - Retail

We are a recruitment firm and are into Permanent Staffing. We are looking out for a Legal & Compliance Manager for one of our MNC client into retail industry.

Main Purposes Of The Job :

Corporate law / Company Secretary:

- Preparation of Notice, Agenda, Minutes of Board of Directors meetings

- Filing of various E-forms and applications to enforce Board's resolutions or Shareholder decisions

- Maintenance of Company corporate legal records, statutory books and registers under Companies Act including ROC.

Legal:

- Legal advise to operational in commercial law/ Corporate Law/ Labour Law

- Draft of contracts, notices, written statements, deeds, Lease deeds, affidavits or other legal documents

- Implementation of a data base to manage contracts

- Coordination with law firms to defend company's rights before Indian courts

- Delegation and coordination with legal experts

Compliance:

- Assist the Finance Dpt in coordinating internal compliance review and monitoring activities

- Implement a monitoring of statutory and legal regulations (factory, labor)

- Compliance and Licensing with Legal Metrology Act and other Compliances for Retail and Office operations

Main Skills Required:

Education and Experience :

- CS+ LLB

- 7/9 years minimum in similar functions in Indian companies (or Indian Affiliate of international companies) or in an Indian Law firm (advice to International groups)

Knowledge :

- corporate law, commercial law, consumer law

Required:
