Our client is the number one insurance company in global revenue.  Role: Manager- Legal & Compliance  Division: Legal & Compliance   Location: Bangalore  Reports to: AVP, Legal & Compliance   Job Summary:   Capable of handling Legal outsourced projects and legal services for Global entities   Legal Advisory, Legal Documentation, Drafting Legal Notices, Contract Review, Drafting and Negotiation, Contract Management, Regulatory Support, Contractual Risks, Contract Obligations, Handling Litigations, Due Diligence and Dealing with Local and Government Authorities as per the Business requirement.  The job holder is responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Legal and compliance department, provision of legal advisory services and ensuring effective management of legal and contractual risks and ensuring contract compliance. Resolves routine legal issues.  Liaise with relevant departments to ensure non-compliance has been identified and appropriate courses of action have been taken.  Review and Draft contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements.  Continuously monitor compliance with statutory obligations and provide support to the juniors and seniors in the team.  Well versed in LPO and the leading industry software like Relativity, Lexis Nexis, Westlaw etc.  Academic and Professional Qualifications:  - LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized school or university in India.  - At least 5 years of LPO experience in a reputed LPO firm  - At least three to four to five years of legal experience ideally in a leading organization, with a proven track record in legal aspects, contract review, drafting, negotiation and contract management. (A total 8+ years of working experience in legal field, of which 5 years preferably in a LPO set up)  - Knowledge of corporate and commercial law.  - Knowledge of local, national and international laws.  Additional Skills:   - Strong Leadership and Managerial Skills;  - Excellent relationship management and communication skills necessary for interaction with the clients, internal departments, negotiation parties and government officials.  - Coordination with various teams in Pune and Bangalore for ensuring deliverables are effectively communicated and met.  - May involve domestic and international travel.  Anshika
