Manager - Legal & Compliance - Insurance Background Only (4-7 yrs)
- Vetting of Product documents
- Updating Compliance requirement existing and emerging which help in reducing the financial losses and Penalties
- Effective monitoring of IRDA compliance and other statutory requirements
- Maintaining and updating the list of various products filed by the Company with IRDA and having control on product number.
- Drafting response and maintaining records of grievances of IRDA and updating complaints list. Assistance also provided in replying to complicated non - claims cases.
- Ensure strict compliance with the requirements related to Polices of the Company
- Preparation of SOP / Checklist for Insurance Compliance in particulars & and general compliance and implementation of the same.
- Preparations of compliance checklist for various departments on quarterly basis to ensure the compliance of the applicable laws by the Company
- Maintaining Branch Register and updating the same on opening of new branches and closing or shifting of any branches and intimating IRDA for the same.
- Identify the Compliance risk on various business functions
- Drafting responses IRDA
- Preparation of brief synopsis of all applicable Circulars on regular basis and circulate the same among the team
- Inspection of Corporate Agents and Due diligence of Corporate Agent at the time of issuing and renewal of Licence
- Share Insurance Updates with Team
- Presentation to team on Tariff
- Presentation to team on Policy wordings of the Company.
Education: Degree/PG Degree in Law or Other Equivalent Qualification
