Main Goals And Objectives:

This position assists the Head Legal, Compliance & Secretarial to be responsible for assigned legal issues; to draft, review and manage contracts; to assist the board secretary function; to handle litigation and dispute cases; and to support the projects assigned from time to time:

- This position ensures that compliance issues assigned by the Department Head are timely and properly solved or implemented.

- This position ensures that high-standards and efficiency are adopted in drafting, reviewing and managing contracts and other legal documents.

- This position ensures to provide legal support to wholesale product & Sales team in completion of transactional documentation, liaising with external Legal Counsel and Valuers.

- This position ensures that disputes concerned and other parties are properly resolved and settled.

- This position ensures to support projects and provide legal opinions to best fit the Company's business and interests.

Responsibilities / Tasks & Customers:

Contract drafting and review:

- To draft contract as requested by Department Head.

- To communicate with related department to confirm business request for contract drafting or revising and report to Department Head.

- To revise and review the related contracts as requested by Department Head.

- Upon confirmation by Department Head, to issue contract revising suggestions to related department.

- To follow up modification, performance, and termination of the responsible contracts, and report to Department Head when any legal related action needs to be taken.

- HR contracts, Outsourcing contracts, Technology contracts, Vendor agreements, Dealership agreements, Retail and Wholesale agreements in relation to the Automobile sector

Product and Schemes, Title Search Reports and Mortgage Documents:

- Legal documentation in launching of new products, schemes or modification of products or schemes

- Legal opinions and advise in regard to the launch of new products and schemes

- Basic knowledge of intellectual property in relation to logos, trademark and copyrights, etc

- Knowledge of RBI Guidelines, Insurance guidelines, Competition Commission Laws

- To provide title search opinions, settle mortgage deeds, valuation reports PAN India

- To coordinate with external lawyers for title search opinions

- To coordinate with external valuers for valuation reports

- Knowledge of Transfer of property Act, Registration Act, Local land laws, Local Registration Acts and Rules, Local Stamping Rules

- To address inter-departmental and customer queries

- Follow up, tracking, bills and payments of advocates and valuers

Project Support:

- To understand and confirm project object and background information with project manager.

- To follow up project progress, including attending project meeting,implementing project plan, reporting working process, ensuring to meeting thedeadline, etc.

- To do legal research, draft legal documents, attend negotiation, and provide possible legal approach upon project demands:

a) To report to department head before working results are proposed to submit to project manager/general managements/external cooperation partners.

b) To communicate and coordinate with external legal consultants,supervise their working process, and make comment and record.

c) If applicable, to prepare application documents and try to obtain approvals from headquarters or related authorities in an effective way.

Other Responsibilities:

- To perform any other duties required upon department head or management's decision with reasonable diligence.

- To formulate process and policies relating to legal and compliance for the Education: Bachelor or above education degree, majoring in law.

Working Experience (in years): 5-year above working experience
