Understanding of the Management Consulting environment (preferably, global)

- Strong understanding of knowledge management approaches and concepts

- Strong creative problem-solving skills

- Strong facilitation skills in strategic,client facing staff conversations

- Flexibility to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment

- Ability to work independently

- Ability to prioritize and multitask work assignments

- Predisposition to quickly understand technology

- Customer service orientation with focus on tangible outcomes

- Exceptional attention to detail

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Proficiency in MS applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Word, Outlook and Sharepoint

- MBA or equivalent Professional qualification

- PMP Certification would be nice to have, but not mandatory Work experience

- 8 - 10 years of experience, with at least 4 to 6 years relevant experience

- Professional Firm Services experience in the areas of technology or strategy preferred

The key job responsibilities include the following:

The Knowledge Manager works closely with consulting leaders and other Knowledge Mangers located around the world to:

- Understand the knowledge sharing needs of client-service practitioner teams and collaboratively design approaches that gain participation for the Strategy & Operations or Technology practice globally

- Establish and sustain relationships with and participation from senior Consulting practitioners

- Advise consulting leaders on all services and value. Identify opportunities to promote the value of and how to use all knowledge-sharing programs to consulting professionals.

- Manage and execute on the knowledge related projects associated with the business unit Knowledge Plan and ad hoc projects in collaboration with the client service practitioners

- Monitor the overall health of the online knowledge space the freshness and relevancy of knowledge assets shared on the practice websites

- Provide guidance on the development and maintenance of sites

- Curate knowledge assets associated with priority business services/topics and package for easy navigation and search

- Execute campaigns to acquire knowledge assets

- Implement effective policy adherence and governance processes to ensure compliance with organisations confidentiality, privacy, and intellectual property policies

Manage project tasks as work progresses across the various programs teams, providing guidance:

- on priorities to the Content Publishing,

- on the structure of sites to the Sharepoint Services team,

- on priorities associated with Project Experience (qualifications),

- on priorities associated with people profiles

- on collaboration tools such as Yammer and Communities of Practice
