Job Title : Manager

Function : Integration & Separation, Transactions and Restructuring

Location : Mumbai / Delhi

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Working in our multi-disciplined teams, you will apply your talents to a wide variety of complex, transaction, distress and turnaround situations with a focus on:

- Performing financial analysis on data provided and arriving at conclusions / identifying issues

- Carve out assessment

- Pre-deal evaluation

- Synergy evaluation

- Operational due diligence – people, process and systems

- Post Merger Integration

- Separation planning and support including subsidiarisation

- Turnaround planning

- Working capital advisory

- Project management and execution

- Play an active role in Business development activities

- Evaluate economic and legal risks to the Firm arising out of engagements, consult and adopt suitable risk management practices

- Confident speaker and presenter (can communicate with personnel at all levels)

- Management of and contribution to the development of junior staff, including timely and objective feedback on every job

- Maintaining business contacts at senior levels

- To contribute to the effective working of the team and development of team morale

- To contribute to practice development initiative, if possible – sales, people, solution development etc

THE INDIVIDUAL

- Have 5-8 years experience in Advisory or in a similar environment (Consulting or Audit and accounting firms).

- Specific exposure to M&A and/or turn around experience

- Strong written and spoken English language skills

- Strong Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills

- Have strong analytical skills and good verbal and written communication

- Have the ability to work under pressure – stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours

- Should have strong education pedigree

- Be willing to travel within India or abroad for continuous long periods of time

- Have strong soft skills such as; inter personal skills, team skills, communication skills both verbal and written

QUALIFICATION

- MBA, CA (1st attempt) or equivalent qualification
