Manager - Indirect Taxation - CA - Furniture/Home Decor eCommerce (3-10 yrs)
We have been retained by India's fastest growing and top e commerce furniture/home decor co.
Based out of Bangalore, the client is looking for Indirect Tax Manager smart team oriented people who can get things done, entrepreneurial in nature, who have passion and excellent number crunching skills.
Job role (Brief) :
- Handle pure indirect tax and implement GST once its confirmed
- Evaluating various benefits available under Indirect Tax legislations.
- Developing and evaluating State level VAT, Entry Tax/Octroi, Service Tax and Central Excise Tax and other indirect tax
- Undertaking periodical Indirect Tax compliances viz. returns/refund claims required as per the provisions of Excise, Service Tax, Value Added Tax/ Central Sales Tax regulations;
- Managing and coordinating VAT, Service Tax audits, including audit preparation, responding to document requests, Litigation support etc.
- Reporting Structure : Reports to CFO and handling a team of 2 people
Employee specifications :
- Candidate should have strong working Knowledge & Experience in Indirect tax compliance and advisory roles.
- Knowledge of accounting & reconciliation processes.
- Up to date knowledge of tax provisions, amendments and judgments on tax issues.
- Solid performer who is highly ethical, decisive, action oriented and team-worker with high energy and process mindset to achieve superior results.
- Strong analytical skills with problem solving abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skill
Education : CA (1st Attempt), Preferred Min 3+ years of experience
