Client Details

Our client is an US based MNC and one of leading manufacturers of the personal care / hygiene products. They are present in 30 plus countries employing 40,000+ people worldwide.

They are currently looking for a Manager - Indirect taxation .

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:

- Procedural and legal compliance relating to various indirect tax legislation

- Maintaining all records, accounting, filing and interacting with the relevant departments, either directly or through consultants.

- Accounting hygiene and review of schedules pertaining to indirect taxes.

- Working closely with building preparedness for the company's position in the event of any proceedings, litigations or such association

- Completion of Excise and VAT- business Audits for past years

- Tax Planning

- Working with the ASP/ GSP for monthly filing of GST returns

- Preparing periodic tax returns to ensure that they are accurately calculated and reported in accordance with government regulatory agencies

Direct and control the identification, research and advice on opportunities and methods available to minimise the Company indirect tax expense consistent with the respective laws and overall corporate objectives

Profile

You are a qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 8-10 years post qualification experience. You have in depth understanding and direct exposure of Indirect taxation. You should have excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills and the ability to verbally and in writing communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees. You should be able to take initiative and work independently. Candidates working in a multinational manufacturing business need only apply.
