About our Client: Our client is an American MNC and have a presence in over 100 + countries. They are looking for an experienced Indirect Tax professional to join their Indian corporate office in Pune

Job Description:

- As the Indirect Tax Manager you will be reporting into the Head of Commercial and be responsible for Tax planning and strategies which are aligned to overall business strategies

- Indirect tax compliance (VAT, Excise, Service Tax, Customs EOU, FEMA, FTP etc) of all Indian entities

- Periodic closing for Tax accounting and reporting purposes

- Coordinating with the tax and VAT audit

- Proper tax compliance for Indirect Tax for organization

- Effective Management of routine Indirect tax matters

- Resolving major operational issues in a timely way

- Leading the design, development and implement the country's Indirect tax strategies, in line with the Global guidelines

- Represent and champion Tax & other tax related activities at all levels

- Leading change projects throughout the organization

The Successful Candidate:

- You are a qualified CA, who is an indirect tax professional with at least 5 years of work experience.

- You are an expert in all areas of Indirect Tax (Excise, Customs, VAT, Service Tax).

- You have spent at least 3 years handling excise matters within advisory and litigation. you have managed Indirect taxes for business.

- You have appeared before tax authorities either independently or in conjunction with Consultants.

- You come with excellent communication and presentation skills
