Our client is a leading Printing & packaging company in India having presence in Europe, Asia & Africa.   Role :   HR Planning & Polices :  - Develop an HR & Organisation plan cascaded from the business plan  - Propose updates to HR polices according to business needs  Organisational Development :  - Build and grow the company culture and driving Employee Engagement  - Support the company's People Survey both in implementation and follow up improvement areas   Recruiting :   - Work with management to define staffing plans (ideal manpower needs including number and competencies required)  - Posting advertisements or approving advertisements for new employees, screening resumes and applications, setting interview appointments, administer assessment and being involved in the hiring process   - Job offers compliant to regulatory concerns   Training & Development :   - Ensure company has a competency mapping process with updated gaps  - Implement and manage all company training programs including training of new employees and re-training of existing employees in order to maximise individual, team and overall company performance. Ensuring that training is targeted specifically towards individual and company needs  - Monitors the company's Performance Management system for senior management, and support management in defining and implementing development activities  Policies and labour relations :   - Work with management in the region and the Group to set HR policies and ensure staff understands & comply to company policies or procedures  - Managing workplace safety programmes, employee absenteeism and health issues.   - Ability to detect and handle complaints, disputes and grievances and support line management with conflict resolution  - Maintaining high overall workplace morale is a key part of the role of the HR manager, implementing company's values of Team Spirit, Trust & Continuous improvement  Compensation & Benefits :   - Have processes for knowing Company's competitiveness in terms of compensation & benefits  - Manage payroll issues, pensions, maintain employee records, complete and record insurance and other benefits programs offered to employees and be able to assist employees in understanding and evaluating the participation in these programs  - Advise Line Management and supports implementation of Company Manager Bonus Model  HR Administration :   - Maintain Employee records (personal details, job titles, job descriptions, salary, appraisal outcomes, leave records, training, and keep updated organisational charts  - Where applicable, ensure proper time keeping and overtime records  - Contract Management of companies supporting Contract Labour, Security & House Keeping/Facility Mgt.  - Submit Personnel budget for all personal cost and headcount to Finance  - Tracks and reports agreed HR & Organisational KPIs and key measures, and contributes to Company's yearly HR & CSR report  Other :   - Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes (Company Code of Conduct) and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within own team  - Recruit, hire and retain qualified staff in HR & Admin, lead them according to Company Leadership Principles, and make sure their performance is managed and kept track of  Roles and relations :   - Reporting to MD/Site Manager and part of local Management Team  - Functional reporting to Company HQ EVP Organisation, HR & CSR  - Supports Finance with personnel related budgeting and reporting  - Join and support group organizational development initiatives   Competencies :   - Bachelor/Master degree of relevant subject, HR/Social Sciences preferred  - 10 + years of work experience, of which at least 5 years in HR Manager role  - Strong leadership skills with outstanding ability to co-ordinate and motivate a cross functional team. Can lead the department according to Company's values & leadership principles  - Must be a role model of high business integrity & ethics  - Must have experience with, and a sound understanding of current Labour Laws  - Preferable to have experience and a demonstrated ability to manage human resources in a high growth business organization  - Computer literate, preferably also in ERP HR systems   - Excellent communication skills  - Ability to withstand pressure and follow through to task completion
