JOB Description:
- Setting Unit Human resource objectives and strategy unit.
- Setting and monitoring Performance Measures for Human Resource Activities and establishment of robust, flexible and transparent HR systems and processes.
- Develop long term business aligned unit HR plan.
- Designing and managing key support systems - succession plans, mentoring schemes, coaching framework, induction etc.
- Establish manpower requirement (Skill-wise numbers) for the unit based on plans, machine manning
- Identify sources of recruitment and maintain data bank of job aspirants
- Design/modify tests/other assessment instruments for checking the skills and attitudes of the candidates
- Conduct prelim screening of candidates to assess suitability
- Facilitate recruitment, induction and deployment of temporary workmen
- Performance monitoring of new recruits to assess the effectiveness of the recruitment process
- Organize induction training for new recruits including class room, practical and on-the-job training
- Co-ordinate for appraisal reports of trainees, probationers and confirm employees
- GPS action planning and driving change initiatives like TPM, Safety, Kaizen, 5 S etc.
- Provide communication support through proper communication forums, team briefings, newsletters, etc.
- Establish connectivity with all levels of employees and get first hand information about Unit culture and develop change initiatives to set in the right culture.
- Establish formal communication channels in the unit.
- Establish circle communication systems and co-ordination.
- Establish integrated approach
