Operations & Management :
- Coordinate planning and reporting activities for various departments, provides expert policy, public relations, and information systems advice and manage the departments administrative services.
- Provide historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer of resources.
- Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Keep management informed by reviewing and analyzing reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
HR :
- Support workforce reporting, Human Resource (HR) metrics business process and analytic activities.
- Maintain office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintain office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Overseeing the recruitment of new staff, sometimes including training and induction.
- Carrying out staff appraisals, managing performance and disciplining staff.
- Delegating work to staff and managing their workload and output.
- Attending conferences and training.
- Partner with HR to maintain office policies as necessary
ADMINISTRATION & POLICIES :
- Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures; controlling correspondence; assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
- Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems.
- Design and implement office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments.
- Implementing and promoting equality and diversity policy.
- Role may extend to the management of social media.
FOR CLARIFICATION :
- Organizing and chairing meetings with staff - in lower paid.
- Ensuring adequate staff levels to cover for absences and peaks in workload, often by using temping agencies.
- Reviewing and updating health and safety policies and ensuring they are observed.
SALES FORCE, ANALYSIS & OTHERS :
- Keeping on track and review customers and sales updates on Salesforce
- Evaluate and verified analysis of costing and selling price
