Manager - HR & IR - Mfg (10-12 yrs)
Objective: To act as a Strategic Human Resource Business partner ensuring business profitability through effective Talent Management across the organization including all its factories.
Recruitment:
- Manpower Planning & timely hiring of talent
- Ensure clarity of jobs
Performance Management:
- Ensure KRA's are set for all employees and timely appraisals done
- Succession Planning
- Identify training needs & publish training calendar
- Develop an induction & functional orientation program for new hires
Employee Engagement:
- Institutionalize HR best practices including retention initiatives & Reward & Recognition programs
Process Robustness:
- Manage HRIS & Monitor HR metrics
- Ensure adherence to HR processes & Statutory compliance
Compensation and Payroll Management:
- Oversee monthly payroll computation, attendance and administration for branch offices and factories
- Manage increment process
Benefits Administration
- Implementation and communication of life insurance schemes
- Studying the market and devising cost effective benefit strategies
Industrial relations
- Review existing policies, agreements in the factories like collective bargaining, health & safety, Fair pay/OT, benefits, retirement & pension schemes etc
- Oversee all activities related to hiring, training, increments etc pertaining to workers at all factories
- Ensure work place discipline
- Investigation of grievances and fair resolution of the same
- Represent management in labor contract negotiations
Candidate Specifications:
Qualification: MBA/PGDBA in Human Resource Management
Experience:
- 10-12 years of HR generalist experience. Should have been in a managerial capacity for 5+ yrs and have a minimum of 5 years of IR experience
- Candidate should be between the age-group of 35-40 years
- Strong Academic Record
Skills & Personality attributes
- Strong HR Domain knowledge
- Strong Domain knowledge on Statutory Compliances including factories act - ID Act , shop & establishment, PF, ESIC etc.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent Communication skills (both spoken/written)
- Analytical and Critical Thinking skills
- Able to maintain cordial relations with the Top Management & Employees at all levels.
- Ability to deal with older employees
- Influencing skills
- Working knowledge of 5S theory
- Should be an unbiased team player in the organization.
- Candidates should be willing to travel across branch locations and factories
