Manager/Head - Retail Merchandising - Footwear (4-10 yrs)

We have an urgent opening for Manager/ Head Retail Merchandising with a leading retail footwear company.

Responsibilities

- Analyze past buying trends, sales records, price, and quality of merchandise to determine value and yield.

- Analysis of stocks available in the warehouse;

- Replenishment of goods in the warehouse and stores;

- Tracking the high demand products and ensuring that those products are properly sourced and available on demand;

- Transferring the goods not sold in one store to another if the demand is higher at another store;

- Setting targets for store managers after having discussion with regional head;

- Ensuring that the sales are on target and revising the estimations if not;

- P&L analysis and reporting the same to Management;

- Making sales projections and showing the same to Management;

- Updating the heads about the current trends;

- Setting the right price points for various goods after the analysis of various goods and the margins needed;

- Setting margin targets;

- Collecting market information by market survey;

- Overall analysis of market trends and sales data to buy right kind of products;

- Product mix decision;

- Markdowns on non-selling goods;

- Demand estimation;

- Product mix refinement;

- Product profitability analysis;

- Consumer feedback with shop floor people
