Manager/Head - Purchase - Manufacturing (10-20 yrs)
We have opportunity with German MNC into manufacturing glass primary packing products majorly for pharma sector.
Note : Thorough experience on SAP is mandatory
Profile :-
Developing vendors for machining and fabrication work
Estimating cost as per prevailing rates and drawings & Finalisation of orders.
Monitored progress of work entrusted to vendors for timely delivery.
Managing purchase of Capital equipments (like machinery, measuring instruments, material handling equipments).
Managing purchase of galvanised steel coils, chemicals, plastic films and other consumables for the factory.
Managing vendors for moulds for glass bottles & developing vendors for machined spares for machines like gears, shafts, and rubber parts.
Purchase of moulds (castings), packing materials namely corrugated boxes, LDPE films, and gum tapes. Purchase of refractories, capital equipments, laboratory equipments, computers and its spares.
Managing imports of raw material, capital equipments and machinery spares.
Negotiating with overseas vendors for prices and delivery terms.
Coordinating with clearing agents and local authorities for speedy clearance.
Coordinating with accounts for payments to overseas vendors.
Managing coordinating with various departments for smooth functioning of SAP, like creation of material master, vendor master, invoice related issues.
Managing all ISO related activities like preparation of approved vendor list, vendor audits, vendor rating. focusing on ISO audits and audits from other agencies as well
