About our Client: Our client is a global investment firm having good presence across capital markets. This deep-rooted presence has helped them invest in a wide array of financial instruments in developed as well as developing economies. They are currently looking for a skilled management professional in their fund operations unit based out of Hyderabad.
Job Description: Reporting to the AD-Financial Operations, your key responsibilities include:
- Perform trade accounting activities related to fund accounting, trade resolution and settlement
- Extensive interaction with trading desk for back office operations and Profit & Loss related issues
- Regular provisioning of business analysis and direction to firm-wide STP initiatives
- Ensuring middle office support in terms of transaction management, firm's proprietary trading activities and timely reference data-management
- Intercompany and inter-entities trade and cash matching and break explanations
- Co-ordinate with the auditors & third party administrators for all accounting and financial operation related queries
- Performing hands-on activities on technology platform(s) catering to fund accounting, reconciliations, treasury/pricing related services and collateral management
The Successful Candidate:
- As an ideal candidate, you are an MBA (finance) from a reputed institute with 7-10 years of post qualification experience. Atleast 5 years of prior associations in fund operations/fund control/product control within financial institutions or fund management firms would be highly preferred.
- Strong accounting & product knowledge with a general familiarity of fund operations would be advantageous. The individual would also have excellent analytical and communication skills, with about 2 years of team-leading experience.
