Client Details :

Our client is an US based MNC and one of leading manufacturers of edible oil. They are present in approximately 40 countries employing 35,000+ people worldwide. They specialize in export and manufacturing of edible oils, food products and bio-fuels.

They are currently looking for a Manager - Financial Reporting and Analysis for the Asia region at their Mumbai office.

Description :

Your responsibilities will include :

- Implementation and management of effective reporting and analysis capability for financial and business information across all Asia businesses to provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance of the Company's businesses.

- Forecasting and variance analysis for all Business Units and report gaps to Senior Management.

- Preparation and reporting of the Business Unit Plan to ensure alignment of "Actual" vs "Plan" reporting across multiple business units and in line with key performance metrics.

- Monitoring performance indicators, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variance

- Oversee and manage the continued development and standardisation of financial reporting across all business units.

- Maintaining the Cognos system for both Forecast and Budget reporting.

- Working with the BI team for improvement opportunities and to ensure complete systems integration

Profile :

- You are a qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 6-8 years post qualification experience. You have in depth understanding and direct exposure of key activities including Budgeting, Accounting, Financial Reporting and Analysis. You should have excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills and the ability to verbally and in writing communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees.

- Exposure of working on SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint is a necessity; Hyperion and Cognos TM1 a plus. You should be able to take initiative and work independently, prioritising multiple responsibilities and activities in high pressure situations. Candidates working in a multinational, agriculture commodity, or food ingredient business need only apply.
