Candidate Profile  Must-have Skills :  Financial Reporting, Analysis  Preferred Skills:  Forecast, Balance Sheet, APAC  Qualifications : C.A.  ROLE PURPOSE  The candidate will lead the APAC FP&A Team at Bangalore, which is an extension of the APAC FP&A, Singapore.  The role is an essential part of the APAC Regional Finance team for DAN, driving the FP&A agenda across the APAC.  The role will ensure :  - The provision of financial information for internal reporting is timely, accurate and insightful,  - The Forecasts and Budgets are realistic and balanced,  - The FP&A processes across the APAC are continually improving,  - The Operating Profit and Working Capital risks and opportunities across the globe are properly managed.  The role requires a leader who will bring energy and passion to this dynamic, diverse and highly acquisitive company. They will need to influence, inspire and collaborate at all levels of the Finance teams - the Regional / Cluster Finance teams, the Group Finance team, the local Finance teams and the outsourced teams.  KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :   Financial Reporting & Analysis (60%) :   - Ensure that all internal monthly Actuals reporting, annual Budgeting and quarterly Forecasting is delivered in a timely and accurate way (P&L and Balance Sheet), balancing speed, efficiency and quality.  - Deliver best in class financial information and analysis to both the Regional Finance and Group Finance team, providing timely, sound and clear financial analysis of current results and insights on impacts to future performance.  - Summarise the financial trends across businesses, geographies, brands and capabilities into APAC level executive summaries.  - Identify and pursue actionable opportunities to improve the financial performance of the DAN APAC business.  - Drive P&L, Working Capital and Cash Conversion analysis across the APAC Region.  - Attend the monthly regional business performance reviews, driving closure of the resulting action plans with each region.  - Manage the Budgeting and Forecasting process, working in collaboration with Cluster / Market Finance teams to ensure planning is realistic, balanced and action-orientated.  - Work closely with the Finance Transformation team to embed the Finance Operating Model, and develop end-to-end FP&A process improvements.  - Develop new reporting formats and analytical tools with the Group Finance teams / Other Regional Finance teams, to drive improved financial insight and performance.  - Anticipate internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues and recommend how the business should prepare.  - Maintain a robust FP&A control environment that adheres to the DAN Group policies and embeds best practice across the business.  Business Partnering (25%) :   - Provide best in class reporting and analysis to the APAC Exec and APAC Brand Leaders, identifying Operating Profit risks to be mitigated and opportunities to be pursued.  - Provide ad hoc analysis as required by the Other Global teams, Treasury, Tax, M&A, IT, Internal Audit, Legal and HR.  External Reporting (5%) :   - Provide analytical support to the external audit process throughout the year  Team development (10%) :   - Be an active part of the APAC Regional Finance team, focusing on developing a professional, high performing function. This will include prioritising staff development and putting in place the best structure to deliver the FP&A vision for the business.  - Build strong team ethos with the regional and local Finance teams.  - Mentor some of the next generation of leaders and support the opportunity to transfer talent across DAN.
