Manager - Finance - IT & Operations (8-12 yrs)

Reporting to the VP - Group Controller, in a nutshell, this position is required to manage the governance and control of the costs related to the largest Operating cost Units of the organization - Technology and Operations [Total Costs that are controlled are in the excess of AED 80 M].

- This role will aid the overall tracking of BAU costs and project costing of all the Strategic Projects within the areas of Technology and Operations.

- Working very closely with the COO and his IT / Operation team leads, the position will be responsible for putting in place and tracking appropriate KPIs of the units and adding value to the budgeting & forecasting of IT& OPS spends.

- Additionally, will have to support the Finance leadership in overseeing the business plans and cost spends of the new offshore facility being set-up in India.

- Implementing Project costing module of the Oracle e-business suite is also going to be a key deliverable

- Preparing Reports for Consolidated NI Financials

- Accounting Policy and IFRS Advisory

- Supporting Key Initiatives

- Internal MIS reporting - Stakeholders; other departments

- IFRS policies

- Business cases and ROI tracking

- Budgetary oversight

Minimum Qualifications:

- Professional accounting or finance qualification (e.g. CA / CPA / ACCA / CMA).

Minimum Experience:

- At least 6-7 year's post qualification experience in finance function of IT& OPS divisions of banks or IT organizations

Job-Specific Skills:

- IFRS understanding and application; Accounting understanding; Presentation for analytical decision making

- Exposure to costing modules of ERP solution [Oracle or SAP] preferred

Generic Skills:

- Data Mining skills; Excel & Power-point presentation,

- Financial Modelling Skills.
