Manager - Finance - CA - Online Travel Portal

Our client is one of India's biggest online travel organisation has scaled 10x in a span of 3 years. We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with 5yrs+ experience into general Accounting preferably with service industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Managing Account Payable function e.g. Vendor Invoice Processing, Vendor master data maintenance, Vendor payments and assuring that the respective Service tax/ VAT credit is taken adequately.

- Employee reimbursements- Processing and checking of employee claims and making payments as per company policies.

- Tax Compliance - Filing Service Tax returns, timely depositing the Tax payable after adjusting the tax credit, Filing TDS returns & payments. Keeping record of substantive documents/records for assessment purpose.

- Balance sheet & Bank Reconciliation for all the bank accounts of the company and pass appropriate Journal entries in the books to resolve the difference.

- IGAAP/ IFRS knowledge/Experience - Closing books as per the IGAAP/IFRS, Must have hands-on experience on the same. Doing Trial Balance scrutiny, preparing/posting month end close journal entries, revenue recognition entries, Pre-paid Journal entries, Depreciation, Accrual Journals etc.

- Management Reporting - Must have strong experience into management reporting. Preparing the month end close reports, analyzing P&L w.r.t. Budget, variance analysis, trend analysis, Reasons for the variations, supporting management decision making, Debtor/creditor age reporting.

- Oracle/ERP Experience - Must have worked on Oracle R12 ERP.

- Team Management - Should be able to manage a team of 5-10 people, ready to stretch as per the business needs.

- Audits- Should have thorough understanding of Tax, Statutory Audit.
