We have been retained by our client, a well established, professionally managed foreign bank to identify a Manager- Finance. The position will be based at Mumbai.  JOB PURPOSE:  - To manage timely & accurate closure of monthly financial statements with all the required checks and controls with regards to Balance Sheet, P&L, Trial Balance and ensuring compliance of group accounting policy, including local reporting as well as group reporting under IFRS and IGAAP.  - Interfacing with Statutory / Internal Auditors for timely/smooth audit execution delivery. Drive follow-up actions for resolving/addressing audit issues.  - Actively participate in the development and preparation of the cash flow/cost initiative plan through the development of forecasting and budgeting, working closely with key internal stakeholders, to agree plans, initiatives and policy in order to meet business objectives.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  - Prepare or oversee the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheet, and analysis of future earnings and expenses.  - Produce monthly management accounts for all departments in a timely and accurate manner.   - Preparation and Reporting of monthly Balance Sheet and P&L to Head Office as per French GAAP/IFRS.  - Liaison with Statutory, Internal, RBI inspection, System Auditors and ensuring smooth audit.  - To handle Income Tax, Service Tax, TDS, Professional tax & related taxation issues. RBI compliance, other statutory compliance as per prescribed guidelines.  - Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts.  - Preparing and reviewing monthly Dashboard for the senior management.  - Tax administration: to establish and administer tax policies and procedures.  DESIRED SKILLS:   - Excellent communication and presentation skills.  - Strong analytical skills.  - Problem-solving skills.  - High numeracy and sound technical skills.  - Capacity to make quick but rational decisions.  - The ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships.  - Good IT skills.  CANDIDATES PROFILE:   Candidates should be Chartered Accountants with about 5 to 8 years relevant experience in Banking sector.
