What you- ll do here :
- Ensure adequate controls are in place segregation of duties, system access controls, policies and procedures.
- Ensure consistent and reliable financial reporting and analysis
- improve business case process and profitability tracking
- Drive the budgeting and forecast processes. Ensure ongoing business performance is appropriately monitored and measured
- Ensuring proper books of accounts are maintained. Managing and effectively controlling all payables and receivables
- Provide management with accurate, relevant business analysis to support monthly operational reviews and ad hoc requests on revenues, costs, cost centers, customers, project performance, shared service cost allocations, etc.
- Statutory Compliance - Ensuring compliance with all applicable statutes - direct and indirect taxes, corporate laws, etc. Liaise with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors, Lawyers, consultants, statutory authorities, etc.
- Proactive management of working capital and cash & bank balances. risk assessment and mitigation

Education Requirements :
- Chartered Accountant (from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India)
- Any relevant industry specific Certifications/Memberships (desirable)

Skills and Knowledge Requirements :
- 2-6 years of prior experience of working in commercial role in corporate organizations having strong business process and control systems.
- Sound knowledge of Accounting, Direct & Indirect Taxation, Corporate Laws, etc.
- Is able to use spreadsheet modeling and data analysis - Outstanding problem solving skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues, develop hypotheses, and develop actionable recommendations from data and analysis
- Uses financial knowledge and experience to challenge and input into business decisions
- Shares knowledge and coaches others in accounting
