Requirement for Manager F&A based at Angola

This is for a no.1 Pharma company in Africa Region:

Salary: 4000 - 5000 USD (tax free, complete saving) + Fully furnished accommodation+ Local Salary+ other benfits

Education: CA Must (2005 t0 2010 passout)

Role Purpose - Finance & Accounts Manager:

- The position reports to the Business Manager/Country Manager of Angola and indirectly to the HQ Head of Finance in Dubai, UAE.

- The main purpose of this position is to manage and oversee all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations. Provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to the following:

- Ensure Proper Accounting of the Company's Accounts Receivables,Accounts Payables and Assets.

- Ensure timely payment of Suppliers.

- Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs and supporting information systems of the company to include budgeting, tax planning, and conservation of assets.

- Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company.

- Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, and position control documents, department budgets, mass salary updates, ledger, and account maintenance and data entry.

- Prepare financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.

- Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.

- Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards to avoid fraud.

- Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.

- Foreign Exchange Management and Accounting.

- Will be responsible for Cost control and Costing of Imports.

- Will interact with concerned personnel to ensure proper inventory control.

- Gain indept knowledge of Local Accounting Regulations and maintain accounts as required by Local regulations.

- Local Tax Planning and timely payment of Taxes and Social Security obligations.

- Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting standards.

- Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.

- Establish and implement short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.

- Oversee financial management of branch operations to include developing financial and budget policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Masters Degree in Finance & Accounting / CA or CPA

- 10 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting position, preferably within an Africa Trading environment.

- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.

- Fluency in English is must and knowledge of Portuguese is beneficial.

- Computer operating skills required like, Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc. Knowledge of latest version of Tally is essential.

- Foreign Exchange management,control and accounting exposure required.
