Manager - Distribution - Supply Chain - Medical Devices/Pharma (8-10 yrs)

Objectives/Purpose Of Job :

Responsible for distribution management PAN India, conceptualize and execute strategy for optimum utilization of distribution channel.

Key Activities/Responsibilities :

- Experience In Managing distributors operations, implementing performance metrics at distributors etc.

- Implement best practices in Distributor operations with key focus on end customer service

- Good knowledge of finance, taxation and commercial laws

- Provide business solutions in close conjunction with Business Directors

- Review and Plan distributor footprint basis business requirement

- Standardize working process instruction for daily work

- Collect and review customers requirement and feedback

- Source Critical Business data - secondary, inventory, market outstanding etc.

- Appoint and control CFA operations

- Analyze data to monitor performance and plan improvements

- Plan and review inventory at distributors and also their investment and ROI

- Establish external communication structure and policy both with customers and suppliers, negotiate with vendors

- People Management Skills - Lead, coach, develop and train high potential staff and maximize their potential, Motivate department colleagues- team spirit and working abilities

- Excellent communicator with problem and conflict solving skills

- Will be in individual contributor role but need to work closely with Marketing, Commercial, supply chain, finance and sales team

- Distributor Investments / ROI, Claims Management, Controls in Distributor Operations,

Key Relationships (e.g. internal customers/business partners, external customers/partners) :

External : Distributors, Vendors, Logistic Partners, Consultants, Service Providers

Internal : Sales Personnel, Finance, Legal, Quality, Commercial Director for Surgical & Vision Care business, all RBM- s, IT, Finance, IDC, Marketing

Qualifications (e.g. professional qualifications, education) :

- Post-Graduation/ MBA (Preferably in Supply Chain Management)

Experience (e.g. health care industry, multinational company, number of years, what level/types of roles, etc) :

- 8-10 Years of relevant experience in Distribution / Supply Chain / Sales

Preferred industry : Pharma, Healthcare (Medical Devices)
