Manager/Director/Leader - L&D - COE (Tier 1 B school Only)

Our client has embarked on a major HR transformation - One HR. In order for this transformation to succeed, it is essential to leverage the collective experience and wisdom of the HR fraternity in all the Businesses to achieve - Twice the Impact in one third the time. As a result of this, every portfolio of Group Human Resources has clearly articulated their game plan for - Up The Game in their specific areas.

Major Challenges :

1. Working closely with Businesses to understand their learning requirements/business challenges. Collaborate with the Businesses and the various stakeholders to develop appropriate learning solutions/learning products/interventions to effectively address same

2. Designing and delivering world class innovative learning events /products on a sustainable basis. These events should be able to address the needs of the diverse set businesses across the Group.

3. Understand Behavioural / Leadership needs of the businesses to design and deliver high impact learning programs.

4. Identify, develop and introduce new training methodologies and leverage on technology to enhance training effectiveness and value for the learners.

5. Influencing BCOEs without authority, build their capability

6. Implementing post-learning measures for appropriately learning events/products thus ensuring that the learning happening in the context of work.

7. Ensure all the businesses of the Group (who are at different maturity levels) adopt common minimum standards

8. Constantly scanning the environment to identify, evaluate and work with the best training partners across the globe.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities :

Supporting Actions :

Core Accountability: Support the Program Director for the delivery of select learning events

Provide support in conducting the following actions (which are typically followed for each learning event) :

1. Gather requirements of multiple stakeholders and link it to the overall plans of the Group and Business strategy and goals.

2. Do research / read / interact with different people to develop understanding & perspective on the subject.

3. Get a sign off on the need analysis and learning objectives

4. Create broad outline of the course.

5. Draw macro design of the learning intervention - Objectives structure, instruction strategy, pre - during after interventions etc). Ensure the design will deliver the intended and agreed learning objectives.

6. Search and select the appropriate faculty / learning partner to deliver the learning design.

7. Ensure appropriate nominations are received from the Businesses.

8. Ensure the delivery of the learning event as per the design by strict adherence to the pre, during and post learning plan by following the GLEAM (Group Learning Excellence and Application Model) standards.

9. Observe the delivery of the program in the class room and provide feedback to the Program Director.

10. Ensure implementation of post program action plan on sustained learning.

11. Review course feedback to modify course structure methods of delivery and selection of appropriate faculty for future programs.

12. Leverage on technology for learning effectiveness (pre, during and post program).

13. Measure Business impact of the learning events.
