Manager - Corporate Indirect Taxation - Manufacturing (9-12 yrs)
Manager - Corporate Indirect Taxation
Analyze relevant tax law as it applies to business including customs, excise, service tax, sales tax/VAT etc and other indirect taxes and levies. Formulate strategies to ensure adherence to relevant laws.
Monitoring and advising the changes in Excise and Service Tax, implementation of procedural changes, new provisions across the group companies
Handling VAT, Central Excise and Service Tax Audits. Coordinating with the Assessing officer for closure of Assessment, Audit / Notices reply thereon and & litigation of the Company & the Group
8-12 years, manufacturing preferred. Should have experience of independently handling Indirect Tax functions in a medium size multi location company. Around 10 years total experience
Professionals - CA/ ICWA, Should possess core Indirect Tax knowledge covering Central Excise, service tax & VAT and be experienced in dealing with Tax Officials.
Good understanding and up-to-date knowledge of GSTis a prerequisite.
Good working knowledge of SAP is desirable.
