Manager - Corporate Communication - FMCG (10-13 yrs)

The incumbent will be responsible for :

- the development and implementation of communications programs including, content development for key messages, feature stories, press release writing, speeches, presentations, factsheets and various social media channels

- drive thought leadership in key areas identified by corporate and local levels by working closely with GR function in India

- driving employee engagement through internal communications and CR activities in close collaboration with India CR

- planning and executing media relations strategies and proactively working with trade media outlets

- working collaboratively with diverse BU teams to plan, organize, execute and manage events including recruitment drives, tradeshows, customer and partner events, industry events etc.

Principal Accountabilities :

- Devise and develop effective communications and outreach strategies in order to enhance brand and reputation internally and externally. The work includes identification and effective targeting of key stakeholders for various communications tools, both conventional and online.

- Implement the full range of communicating activities related to events and other activities requiring corporate internal and/or external outreach. The activities include planning and coordinating events, preparing dissemination materials, undertaking media outreach and monitoring the impact of the communication activities.

- Acts as a gatekeeper to maintain a consistent company image and positioning. Ensure one voice communication across the organization, as well as relevance, accuracy, consistency and timeliness in all communications.

- Provides guidance and direction to leadership on issues management and communications in the event of crises and aligns with Regional Communication Lead and Corporate Affairs Director to assure that actions taken are consistent with protecting and advancing brand and reputation.

- Write and edit a range of routine and complex outreach products, including backgrounders, media packets, news releases, op-eds/articles, radio/TV broadcasts, PowerPoint presentations, brochures, Q&As, websites, speeches, blogs, briefing notes, contribution reports etc
