Role & Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with regional teams to implement compliance risk assessment framework

- Sanity testing, completion and consolidation of compliance risk assessment

- Perform periodic review of inherent and residual risk with the regions

- Initiate compliance risk assessments for regional teams and coordinate with business divisions for submission

- Recordkeeping and information management of regional compliance risk assessments

- Reporting and consolidation of compliance risk assessments and documenting rationale for controls

- Maintenance of compliance risk assessment sharepoint

- Recording and follow up of action items for residual risk for remediation and completion

- To develop and prepare the compliance risk assessment for compliance senior management and answer their queries

- To establish the best practice of compliance risk assessment which is comparable to industry standards

- Build and generate MI to produce periodic reports

- Produce time sensitive information on stipulated frequency and provide actionable data

- Identify and report compliance risks & issues

- IB Professional with experience of working in business lines / compliance / Risk Management functions of International Investment Bank

- Prior experience in compliance, risk, audit, controls functions is desirable

- Strong with MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Access skills)

- Attention to detail with management reporting with clear and concise data points and presentation

- Sound knowledge on financial industry and creative problem solving skills

- Proactiveness

- Good organizational skills that support multiple lines of business in a time critical global environment

- Strong Analytical mind-set

- Comfortable with data driven discussions and solution

- Appreciation to project management & 6 sigma tools

- Ability to work with virtual teams within Compliance

- Self-starter and ability to multi-task under pressure and meet various deadlines

- Good interpersonal skills; high ethical standard; collaborative; detail oriented, willing to learn and adapt
