Manager - Compensation & Benefits - BPO (7-10 yrs)

Major Areas of Accountability:

- Establish a globally consistent analytical framework for the systematic review, recommendation and implementation of competitive pay ranges, across all regions

- Develop an analytical framework for the systematic review, recommendation, and implementation of additional pay practices and policies, including, additional pay components, such as pay premiums, geographic differentials, and other compensation allowances.

- Evaluate, optimize, and source a comprehensive range of market benchmark surveys, working to manage related global vendor relationships and contracts

- Manage the survey submission process globally to ensure global consistency in job matching and manage the relationship with survey vendors globally. This process will likely be done in conjunction with the BU Reward teams.

- Manage the analysis, development, and recommendation of changes to pay ranges and additional pay programs/policies, overseeing and approving recommendations put forward by the Regional Total Reward Teams to ensure consistency with the global framework.

- In close partnership with the Total Rewards leadership team, develop and recommend annual increase budgets, incorporating related competitive and economic trending information, as appropriate.

- The position is responsible for managing to a budget and managing the global salary survey budget.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Excellent project management skills: adept in delivering results in a dynamic environment with responsibility for supporting multiple projects simultaneously

- Able to assess data/trends to build business cases for recommendations

- Strong proficiency in MS office Suite with special consideration for Excel, SharePoint and MS Access expertise

- Proficient with HR database queries (i.e. PeopleSoft)

- Must be proactive, show initiative and responsive to inquiries received to ensure high satisfaction level

- Superior collaboration and communication skills; ability to build relationships within an organization

- Demonstrated ability to deliver results exceeding expectations with clients and key stakeholders

- Demonstrated effective teamwork. Proactive in soliciting assistance when needed.

Experience:

- Previous experience in a Reward management role (either in an external consulting firm or corporate role) with a strong analytical basis.

- Customer-facing and relationship management is essential.

- Demonstrable experience in compensation design, theories and practices

Education: Typically has a graduate degree as well as a recognized HR post-graduate qualification
