Manager - Collateral Management

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Manage day to day process delivery. Ensure SLA targets are met.

- Hands on involvement in the day to day delivery Play a lead role in any - change the bank- projects involving the functional area owned by the team

- Managing more than one team/process lines

- Establish effective working relationships with peer group, and internal clients.

- Primary/secondary escalation point for all process issues for the markets/processes in scope

- Continually look for improvements to processes and controls within functional area.

- Managing all internal and external Audits and risk reviews

- Ensure that all process documentation is complete and reviewed regularly.

- Review and control of the all the daily/monthly/weekly process MIS and reports.

- To ensure that there is adequate cross training within the team, and sufficient backups are available for each process.

- Employee engagement and career planning, grooming of staff, and performance management.

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

Knowledge & Skills:

- Required Subject matter expertise on multiple markets

- Proven track record of having successfully managed different processes/ multiple teams

- Awareness and understanding of the regulatory requirements

- Time management and prioritization skills.

- Leadership skills, People and conflict management, Mentoring and coaching skills.

- Ability to handle pressure, high volume and risk.

- Understanding of the trade life cycle

Desired: Quality/Process improvement/Change management experience.

Qualification & Experience:

- Graduate/Post Graduate with minimum 8-12 yrs experience in Investment Banking Operations, with 2-3 years- experience in Collateral Management.

- Proven track record of having team management experience
