Job Purpose:

- Client Reporting (CR) is the provider of account and fund information to all clients, custodian banks, trustee banks, and consultants.

- Reporting information includes fund characteristics, underlying manager analytics, transaction activity, and fund performance.

- CR also supports the BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. reporting group and responds to information requests from internal and external clients.

- The Reporting Associate (RA) works with various internal clients and groups to provide reporting solutions to meet external clients’ needs. Over time, RAs provide front-line client service to internal and external clients, focusing on accurate and timely distribution of reports.

Responsibility:

Key responsibilities:

- Highly complex data management and reporting; creating and updating unique and targeted graphs, tables, charts and reports for clients and prospective clients using various software applications.

- Manage own workload; determine appropriate priorities and provide timely and accurate distribution of standard and custom reports.

- Understand flow of client and fund information and data between various groups and systems.

- Review the work of peers and Analysts; ensure accuracy and enforce compliance rules as applied to fund performance reporting.

- Support and complete various efficiency and capacity-building intiatives, including automation/ standardization efforts, client research, and representing CR in firm-wide projects.

- Participate in cross training efforts on all CR functions.

- May train new reporting specialists in all basic functions of position requirements. Ensure complete knowledge transfer of all operational and compliance procedures.

- Constantly evaluate systems, processes and procedures for inefficiencies, and make recommendations for improvement.

Skills/ Qualification:

- BS/BA in business, finance or related field

Knowledge/ Experience Required:

- 6-8 years experience

- A strong emphasis on time management in addition to being well organized and detail - oriented

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an aptitude for learning new applications

- The ability to perform effectively in an environment of rapid and continual changes

- Strong PC skills across Word, Excel, Outlook
